Something "New" from Asia Pacific University (APU)

On 8–9 April 2025, our counsellor had the valuable opportunity to participate in a product training and agent familiarization programme at Asia Pacific University (APU). We are excited to share that APU has officially launched an exciting new programme the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architecture. This is a basic first stage pre-professional qualification designed to lead towards becoming a registered architect in Malaysia. Approved by the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) and provisionally accredited by MQA, the programme offers exemption from the LAM Part I Examination and equips students with transferable skills for careers in architecture and related fields.
Why are we excited to introduce this to you?
At APU’s School of Architecture and Built Environment, the programmes are built through strong industry-academia collaboration to ensure graduates are job-ready and future-focused. In line with national blueprints such as HTPSN 2030, the 4IR Policy, and the Construction 4.0 Strategic Plan, the curriculum equips students with cutting-edge skills in design, Building Information Modelling (BIM), sustainability, and professional practice. Furthermore, APU offers state-of-the-art facilities designed to support an exceptional learning experience.
Employability and Salary
Now let's get to the most important part. Employability and salary is a main concern of parents and students but APU delivers on both. According to the Ministry of Higher Education’s latest Graduate Tracer Study, APU achieved a 100% employability rate, while the 2024 MDEC Fresh Graduate Salary Survey ranked APU graduates as the highest-paid fresh graduates in Malaysia. Reinforcing this, APU was named the 2024 Employers' Choice of University by Talentbank.
